Workwear is one of the most significant inspiration sources for jeanswear, streetwear, and sportswear. Womenswear, menswear and gender-fluid fashion are no less interested in finding inspiration from this comfortable, cool, timeless, and versatile apparel style.
For all these reasons, among others, Endrime publishers Sadia Rafique and Mohsin Sajid have just released “”, a photographic collection by Cory Piehowicz, a renowned photographer, vintage workwear collector, and specialist who has been collecting archive photos and garments for over fifteen years.

“I started putting together ‘Worker’ over fifteen years ago. Over the years, it has evolved from just being a book about guys in workwear to so much more,” he added.
This highly anticipated photographic book premiered at Rin Tanaka’s premium denim, vintage trade show, “Inspiration Tokyo,” in early November 2025.
A worldwide release will follow at the end of November 2025 via Endrime’s website along with leading global fashion bookstores soon after.

The unique publication spans over 370 pages of historical research—every item found and photographed by Cory himself is from the Cory Piehowicz Collection, unless otherwise noted.
The photographer and collector has painstakingly unearthed rare, historic, and early photographs, pairing them with companion garments and artifacts from the same period, bringing this already rare collection to life and providing rich historical context to each piece.
The book also features mine-found relics, many sourced from flea markets and fellow collectors—though most were personally discovered by Cory. The book also includes 70 historical workwear garments, some predating the 1870s—before the invention of modern blue jeans—and more than 350 photographs ranging from cabinet cards and cartes de visite to real photo postcards, tintypes, and stereoscopic photo cards.

“We have known Cory Piehowicz for over 15 years and have always shared a mutual respect,” said Mohsin Sajid, creative director, editor & project manager, Endrime.
“Over the years, we’ve spoken on many occasions and even featured Cory on our Denim Think Tank Webinar during the COVID outbreak in October 2020.
“We have long admired Cory’s exceptional photography, as well as his remarkable collection of rare garments and historical images. While attending Rin Tanaka’s Inspiration in Los Angeles, in APril 2025 we reconnected with Cory. Naturally, the conversation turned to Cory producing his own photographic archive collection book. We offered our expertise through Endrime, providing support with graphic design and layout,” explianed Sajid.
“Coincidentally, Sadia Rafique, our art director, had just completed another vintage archive publication titled ‘Vintage Style Research,’ which has just been translated into Japanese. That’s how Sadia took the lead as creative & art director, graphic designer, and editor for ‘Worker,’ collaborating closely with Cory over four months during the summer to bring the book to completion,” he added.
