Cmplex is a sustainable and circular brand and a project born from the need to offer an alternative collection.
The brand was created by Rebeca De Vico, a fashion designer who studied at NABA, the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. After gaining some experience in the fashion industry, she wanted to find new solutions to avoid waste as much as possible and operate sustainably.
Not only does the brand offer garments made from circular materials, such as deadstock fabrics, samples, and small material quantities, but it also offers gender-free and size-free garments that are versatile because they can be worn in different ways.
The brand’s garments can be shaped to fit the body and customized according to individual needs. They also accompany everyone in daily life, bearing the marks of what we do, of time, of washing…
One of the themes dearest to the collection is that of Wabi-Sabi, or “perfect imperfection,” characterized, for example, by a raw-cut hem or handcrafted fabric.

The shapes of the garments are soft and linear, yet recognizable. They are unisex and made with modular pieces, thanks to careful study of the shapes and closure system. In fact, they can be adapted to different sizes and body types and can be worn in different ways, even modifying the fit.
They are tailor-made and, for now, are all unique pieces. The modeling is also done sustainably. Thanks to the Clo3d program, garments are created using digital models, and modifications are made on three-dimensional avatars, according to the software that the designer learned to use after attending a course at Parsons New School in New York.
