Nebraska returns home to Memorial Stadium, after a pair of road games, to square off with Northwestern in an 11 a.m. CT kick that will be broadcast on FS1.
Connor Onion and Mark Helfritch will be on the call on FS1. The game will also be broadcast on the Huskers Radio Network with Kyle Crooks, Damon Benning and Jessica Coody handling broadcast responsibilities.
The Huskers and Wildcats will both be seeking to become bowl eligible with a win on Saturday. The teams did not play last season, after squaring off in each of Nebraska’s first 13 seasons in the Big Ten from 2011 to 2023. The series has a history of close games with 10 of the past 13 meetings decided by one score, including Nebraska’s 17-9 victory at Memorial Stadium two seasons ago.
Northwestern comes into the game having won four-straight contests, including a 19-0 win over Purdue at home on Saturday. During the win streak, Northwestern has recorded wins over UCLA and Louisiana-Monroe at home, as well as a road win over Penn State and Saturday’s shutout win over Purdue.
Nebraska will be looking to shake off the funk of last Friday’s 24-6 loss at Minnesota, where the Huskers allowed nine sacks and were dominated in the second half.
Here’s what we’re looking for, picks to click and final predictions for Nebraska and Northwestern.
