VITEEE registration 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially opened the registration process for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026. Aspiring candidates can now apply through the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in, until March 31, 2026, the final date for submission of online applications.According to the official notification, VITEEE 2026 will be conducted from April 28 to May 3, 2026. The entrance examination serves as the gateway for admission into VIT’s undergraduate engineering programmes across its campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati.

Exam pattern and structure

The computer-based test will be held for 2 hours and 30 minutes, comprising 125 multiple-choice questions divided across five sections:

Each correct response carries four marks, while an incorrect answer will lead to a one-mark deduction. No marks will be awarded for questions left unanswered or marked for review.
