Al Zeyoudi highlights strategic importance
Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, said the UAE and Kuwait share firmly rooted fraternal relations that provide a strong foundation for sustainable trade and investment cooperation. He noted that the forum supports private sector partnerships and enhances supply chain integration across sectors such as trade, industry, the new economy, renewable energy, and logistics.
Strengthening a forward-looking economic model
Dr Al Zeyoudi described the forum as a key milestone in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries. He said it contributes to building an integrated economic model focused on diversification, expanded trade and investment, and private sector empowerment.
High-level opening and keynote addresses
The UAE–Kuwait Economic Forum will be inaugurated by Dr Al Zeyoudi and Khalifa Abdullah Al-Ajeel, Kuwait’s Minister of Commerce and Industry. Both will deliver keynote speeches reviewing the evolution of economic relations and outlining ways to further strengthen cooperation in support of sustainable development.
