Syria is participating in the 25th International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI), which commenced in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on Tuesday.
The Central Agency for Financial Control (CAFS) said in a statement that its participation in this international event is part of Syria’s efforts to enhance its supervisory presence in global forums. It also aims to exchange expertise with counterpart agencies while working to develop supervisory practices in accordance with the best international standards.

The event was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and several ministers. The Syrian delegation was led by Wassim al-Mansour, Head of the Central Agency for Financial Control (CAFS).
This conference is a key event that brings together leaders from the international regulatory community to discuss enhancing cooperation, exchanging experiences, supporting transparency and integrity efforts, and preserving public funds.
Egypt has officially assumed the presidency of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) for a three-year term as the XXV INCOSAI Congress opened on Tuesday in Sharm El-Sheikh.
