Tomorrow, GWAR, the Scumdogs of the Universe and eternal masters of intergalactic mayhem, embark on “The Return of Gor Gor Tour,” unleashing their carnage across North America. Celebrating 40 years of blood, chaos, and domination, GWAR are joined by Helmet, Dwarves, and Blood Vulture for what promises to be one of the most unholy and unforgettable tours of the year.
“The Return of Gor Gor Tour” will begin its mayhem October 18th in Salt Lake City, UT at The Complex before concluding in Norfolk, VA on November 22nd at The NorVa. For the full list of dates, please see below.
The tour follows the release of GWAR’s brand-new multimedia release, ‘The Return of Gor Gor,’ out now via Pit Records. More than just an album, ‘The Return of Gor Gor’ is a grotesque, hilarious, and gloriously violent experience; an audio/visual assault that pays tribute to four decades of the band’s unrivaled reign of interplanetary mayhem.

‘The Return of Gor Gor’ features three brand new GWAR songs mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, GodCity Studios) and four live tracks captured at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA during GWAR’s 2024 tour, mixed by Chris Ronan Murphy. All songs were produced by GWAR and mastered by Alan Douches. The release also includes a 32-page comic detailing Gor Gor’s return, which is included with all versions. Vinyl editions boast an animated etching of Gor Gor on Side A, with a Semi-Translucent Etched Deep Purple Vinyl available exclusively at GWAR.net.
