Your Role And Responsibilities

This role is contributing to the Motion Business for the System Drive Division in Nelamangala, Bangalore, India
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Full technical ownership of the product. Should take ownership of the product line in the factory with respect to all technical issues ( factory failure, production tester issues) , coordinate with the product manager for any known issues and plan for the action to resolve the same.
- Involvement in new developmental activities relevant to converter design. Knowledge and prior hands-on experience in the PCBA design is essential.
- Any failure needs to be analysed for the reason for the failure. A detailed report should be created for the same; the analysis should be done up to the level of the circuit component. Work involves direct coordination with the global support team for any further analysis. Root cause analysis needs to be created for every failure and updated the same in the global failure data.
- Knowledge of IEC, UL and CE standards pertaining to low-voltage drives is essential.
- Need to monitor the failure rate of the owned product; warranty details need to be checked to understand the failure. The failure rate of the product needs to be monitored using the warranty data.
- Technical ownership of all localisation activities. Evaluation of the local material supplied by local suppliers with global products. This needs to be evaluated against the global guidelines. The testing of the local component and the report for the same should be made available.
- R&D laboratory: The Analysis lab should be kept with high safety standards and all equipment calibration and maintenance of the same
Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)
- Skill Set: Variable frequency drive expert knowledge, PCBA design,
- Qualification: BE – Electrical and Electronics or Electronics and Communication or M-tech – Power Electronics or Control Systems or Drives
- Year of experience: 6 to 7 years for BE, 4 to 5 years with M-Tech
