Italy could not win against Iceland in their first Group D game, despite an outstanding performance by Procida, who played 25 minutes and scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Against Lithuania, the madridista led his team to victory after scoring 24 points and 18 PIR.

Krämer was the most outstanding player of his side with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists in the victory against Cyprus. He also played a part in the German team’s win against Israel, scoring 13 points.

The Argentinian national team defeated Cuba in their first Group D game. Campazzo (6 points and 4 assists) and Deck (8 points and 5 rebounds) participated in the win. In the second game against the Cuban team, Deck was the protagonist, scoring 18 points and getting 23 PIR, while Campazzo scored 6 points and 19 PIR.
