Registrations are now open for the ninth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, encouraging residents and visitors to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days.
Running from November 1 to 30, this year’s event promises to be the biggest and most community-driven yet.
Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, the initiative transforms the city into a vibrant fitness arena.
Last year’s challenge saw a record 2.7 million participants — a 244 per cent increase since the challenge began.
This year’s theme, ‘Find Your Challenge’, encourages residents and visitors alike to discover new, fun and inclusive ways to stay active — no matter your age or ability.
The 2025 edition also aligns with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’, adding deeper meaning to the challenge as it aims to strengthen social bonds through shared movement.
Flagship events return, including Dubai Ride on November 2 and Dubai Run on November 23, turning Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai into iconic tracks for cycling and running.
The challenge also features Dubai Stand Up Paddle and the inaugural Dubai Yoga, in addition to three free Fitness Villages, 25 community fitness hubs, and thousands of free classes and activities across Dubai.
Registrations are now open for the ninth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), which promises to be the biggest and most community-focused yet, with everyone encouraged to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days when it gets underway from 1–30 November 2025.… pic.twitter.com/KGw2QDUMfn
