Real Betis have on Sunday evening been dealt a blow on the personnel front.
This comes after goalkeeper Pau López was forced into a last-minute withdrawal from the club’s line-up to face RCD Mallorca.
As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, whilst warming up for Sunday’s outing, López pulled up with an unspecified physical problem.

The Spaniard, in turn, was replaced by Álvaro Valles in Manuel Pellegrini’s XI.
It is as of yet unclear whether or not López is facing up to an incoming spell on the sidelines.
Despite the absence of their no.1, Real Betis have since gone on to enjoy a positive opening to the action in Seville.
Inside the opening 10 minutes of proceedings, the Verdiblancos took the lead courtesy of summer signing Antony.
Should they maintain their advantage through the full-time whistle, Betis will climb to 5th in the Spanish top-flight table.
