The Baltimore Ravens will have to try to avoid a 1-6 start without the services of their star quarterback.
Despite returning to practice this week, Lamar Jackson will miss Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears with a hamstring injury, the team announced Saturday. It’s the third straight game Jackson will have missed.
With Jackson out, Tyler Huntley is in line to get the start.
Jackson was originally listed as a full participant in Friday’s practice, but the team downgraded him to limited a day later.
The Ravens (1-5) have been holding out hope that Jackson’s return can help save their season after four straight losses. They host the Bears on Sunday, then have a quick turnaround before playing at Miami the following Thursday.
Jackson plans to return for next week’s game against the Dolphins, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.
