Toronto Raptors fans could be getting their first look at a big part of their future on Sunday night.
Rookie Collin Murray-Boyles is available to make his Raptors regular-season debut on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks (Sportsnet, 7:30 p.m. ET), the team announced ahead of tip-off.
The forward has missed the first two games with a forearm injury.
Murray-Boyles suffered the injury in pre-season and missed the final exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings last Friday.
The 20-year-old averaged 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in three pre-season contests. Against the Kings on Oct. 8, Murray-Boyles scored 12 points, pulled down seven boards, recorded six assists and blocked two shots.
Drafted by the Raptors ninth overall in June, Murray-Boyles averaged 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting an SEC-leading 58.6 per cent from the field in his sophomore year at South Carolina.
