Kuwait Bourse Closes Lower
Kuwait, January 28 (QNA) – Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index lost 72.89 points to reach 8,724.50 points, a decrease of 0.83 percent.
As many as 241.7 million shares valued at KWD 88.9 million (roughly USD 270.2 million) were traded via 18,401 transactions.
The Main Market Index went down by 74.34 points to reach 8,111.32 points, down by 0.91 percent, through 78.3 million shares done via 6,781 transactions valued at KWD 13.7 million (roughly USD 41.6 million).
The Premier Market Index lost 76.17 points to reach 9,308.01 points, down by 0.81 percent, through 163.4 million shares done via 11,620 transactions valued at KWD 75.2 million (roughly USD 228.6 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went down by 103.54 points to reach 8,588.31 points, down by 1.19 percent, through stock volume of 64.3 million shares done in 4,760 deals at a value of KWD 11.6 million (roughly USD 35.2 million). (QNA)
