Doha, January 28 (QNA) – Under the patronage of HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Doha will host the 49th Electoral General Assembly Meeting and the 119th and 120th Executive Office Meetings of the Arab Police Sports Federation, from Feb. 3 – 7.

In a press conference held today, Secretary-General of the Qatari Police Sports Federation Major Abdullah Khamis Al Hamad confirmed that all organizational and technical preparations have been completed to receive delegations from 21 Arab countries, coinciding with the Golden Jubilee of the Arab Police Sports Federation and the Arab Police Cross-Country Championship.

For his part, Chairman of the Technical Committee for the Cross-Country Championship Captain Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari explained that the race will be held on Feb. 6 at Al Bidda Park, with the participation of 91 athletes representing 19 Arab countries. He noted that the championship is receiving significant attention and comes within the framework of strengthening sports cooperation among Arab police forces. (QNA)
