Russia’s FSB says it foiled a terror plot targeting a senior police official in Crimea. The attack was allegedly planned by Ukrainian special services using a local recruit. Officials recovered a bag of explosives and a phone with incriminating chat evidence. The suspect confessed he was contacted by Ukraine in September for the mission. He said he was searching for a high-ranking officer’s car when he was caught. The FSB claims the plot shows Kyiv’s ongoing use of sabotage tactics inside Crimea.
