It’s Sean Dyche’s first Premier League home game as Nottingham Forest manager.
He made a winning start to his tenure in the Europa League against FC Porto but last Sunday only brought disappointment and defeat at Bournemouth.
Forest have not won since the opening weekend, have not picked up a point since 20 September and are now onto their third manager following the exits of Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou.
Dyche knows he has a tough task – and he is aware having the fans behind him at what can be one of the most atmospheric grounds in the Premier League can only help.
“The atmosphere in our last home game was truly special and we can only thank you for that,” he explains in his programme notes.
“To have the City Ground bursting with noise only shows how special our club is and underlines how lucky we are to have you backing us every week.”
