CHESAPEAKE — State police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that happened on Interstate 264 Saturday morning.
Around 7:35 a.m., state police was notified about a pedestrian lying on the left shoulder of the ramp from I-264 westbound and I-664 northbound.
The pedestrian, a 39-year-old man, died at the scene and had injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle, according to a release.
Police said an investigation is ongoing. No other information, including the man’s identity, has been released.
