Awards season has reached the Southern Hemisphere as the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts is out with the nominees for its 2026 AACTA International Awards. Warner Bros’ One Battle After Another leads the way with seven noms, with Focus Features’ Hamnet right on its heels with six.
Both will face off on the marquee Best Film category against A24’s Marty Supreme — which is third with four nominations — Sony Pictures Classics’ Nuremberg and Warner Bros’ Sinners. See the full list below.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another scored noms in six of AACTA’s seven film categories, including pitting the pic’s Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn against each other for Best Supporting Actor. Hamnet also went 6-for-7, only missing out in the Best Actor race.
