Beau Pribula went one-and-done with the Missouri football program.
Pribula, who started 10 games at quarterback for the Tigers this past season, plans to transfer when the transfer portal window opens in January, a source told PowerMizzou.
The 6-foot-2, 212-pound redshirt junior threw for 1,941 yards, 11 touchdowns, and nine interceptions while completing 67.4% of his passes this season. He also ran for 297 yards and six touchdowns. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

The Penn State transfer had highs and lows for Missouri this past season. He threw for 334 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ come-from-behind 42-31 win over Kansas in Week 2. He also turned the ball over in nine of the 10 games in which he played.
Pribula also missed two games this season after injuring his ankle against Vanderbilt on Oct. 25. On a fourth-and-goal quarterback run play in the third quarter, he was stood up before reaching the goal line by the Vandy defense and tackled awkwardly backward, resulting in a dislocated ankle. He was carted off and later returned to the sidelines and watched Mizzou lose, 17-10.
“He had a non-fractured, dislocated ankle,” Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz said in November. “It happens in about 1% of displaced injuries. It’s normally a judo injury, but they popped it back in place. Now it’s about how fast the ligaments can recover.”
Pribula remarkably returned to Missouri’s starting lineup after just two games. He started and played he entirety of Missouri’s 17-6 loss to Oklahoma. He struggled, completing 20-of-36 passes for 231 yards and two interceptions, but Drinkwitz said he showed great courage in returning to play.
“I was really proud of the courage that he showed,” Drinkwitz said. “I thought he ran hard. I thought he distributed the ball well. I thought he made good decisions for the most part. Ultimately, the two takeaways hurt. But I was proud of the courage he showed today.”
Before Missouri, Pribula spent three years at Penn State. After redshirting the 2022 season, he was QB2 behind Drew Allar in 2023 and 2024. In 24 career games with the Nittany Lions, he threw for 424 yards, ran for 571, and scored 19 total touchdowns.
Pribula left the Penn State program before their first-round playoff game in December 2024. He sought an opportunity to compete for a starting role after Allar announced he would return for the 2025 season. He chose Missouri a week after entering the portal. The Nittany Lions ultimately reached the CFP national semifinals.
Pribula beat out Horn for the starting job in fall camp, but Horn also suffered an injury that put him on the shelf for the season. He broke his right tibia on a quarterback run play in the Tigers’ Week 1 win over FCS Central Arkansas.
Pribula was originally a 3-star recruit out of York, Penn. He chose Penn State over offers from Nebraska and Virginia Tech, among others. When in the portal, he was rated a 4-star transfer and chose the Tigers over Iowa, Ole Miss, and UCF.
With Pribula hitting the transfer portal, Mizzou’s quarterback room now consists of Matt Zollers, Sam Horn, Brett Brown, and 2026 signee Gavin Sidwar.
