LeBron James Reacts to Mavericks Winning 2025 NBA Draft Lottery

With a few bounces of the ping-pong balls, the entire trajectory of multiple franchises has been turned upside down. Many expected the Utah Jazz, Charlotte Hornets, or Washington Wizards to land the first overall pick.
But Flagg will likely be heading to the Mavericks, after what was an eventful NBA season for them. Dallas just traded star guard Luka Doncic to the Lakers, so James likely found this entire situation laughable.

Dallas will now go forward with the knowledge that they can bring Flagg into a group of talent. The Mavericks already have star center Anthony Davis and star guard Kyrie Irving on the roster to build around.
While some teams will try to pry Flagg from the Mavericks, Dallas is likely to decide to keep what many people see as the next generational talent. Flagg has a chance to massively help the Mavericks out for years to come.

For his lone season in college, Flagg averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game with Duke. Flagg was able to show that he could play at the highest level, and now will be looking to translate that over to the NBA.

Flagg will bring a lot of coverage to the Mavericks and may help to ease the fans’ anger over trading Doncic. The Mavericks have struck gold with this news, and they can now start to build toward winning more titles.
