However, many viewers have complained that some people talk loudly, hoot, and make comments in the theater, ruining the truly terrifying experience. According to Reporter Live, in response to this concern, several theater owners in Kerala have issued a special notice, which is now displayed before the film begins. This notice reads, “This is a horror film. Please do not create unnecessary commotion that may disturb others and hinder the proper experience of the movie.”

This move by theater owners has been widely praised by audiences on social media. Theaters like Ragam in Thrissur and Apsara in Kozhikode have also shared this message online. Many people wrote that, “don’t know how to watch a horror movie,” so such instructions are necessary to properly convey the film’s fear and suspense. One user wrote, “Every theatre should display this.” Another comment, “It’s an insult to the civic sense of the film viewing public. We should hold our heads in shame. Dies Irae box office collection

Dies Irae has also had a strong opening at the box office. The film was released on October 31st and is being called a genre-defining horror film in Malayalam cinema. Pranav Mohanlal’s intense and powerful performance has captivated audiences. According to initial reports, the film has collected Rs 16.75 crore nett in India by the third day. Third-day earnings were approximately Rs 6.35 crore. This success proves that if the content is strong and the audience is provided with the right atmosphere, even horror films can be huge hits.
