If You Can’t Wait For Psych 4, Watch This 5-Season Action Comedy In The Meantime

It’s been four years since Psych 3 was released, and if you can’t wait for the fourth installment in the franchise, then this action-comedy TV show, which ran for five seasons from 2007 to 2011, should be your next watch. Released in 2006, the noughties TV classic follows police consultants Gus and Shawn as they help the Santa Barbara Police Department solve crimes. The police procedural drama was a hit with audiences and remains popular even to this day. Three years after the show ended, the first movie in the Psych franchise was released to audience and critical acclaim.
With its humor and chemistry between the cast, it made sense that another Psych movie was to join the TV seasons. However, the last time Gus and Shawn displayed their hilarious dynamic in a movie was in 2021, and fans of the films have been anxiously waiting to see more of them since then. Given the nostalgia for TV shows and movies from the aughts and 2010s, there is another series from that era that could make the wait for Psych 4 a little bit easier.

Because of the type of secrets he is now in possession of, he has two handlers with him, Sarah and Casey from the CIA and NSA, respectively, who guide him as he gets embroiled in the world of espionage.
