Marrakech – Emirates has launched a second daily service between Dubai and Tokyo Narita, significantly enhancing travel options for Moroccan passengers seeking connections to Japan through the UAE hub.
The new flight EK320 departs Dubai at 10:30 p.m. and arrives at Tokyo Narita at 1:30 p.m. the following day, while the return service EK321 leaves Tokyo Narita at 9:30 p.m., arriving in Dubai at 3:50 a.m. the next day. All times are local.
Morocco does not currently operate direct, non-stop flights to Japan from local airports such as Casablanca or Marrakech.
Searches for flights show only connections with one or more stopovers; there are no nonstop routes offered by Royal Air Maroc (RAM) or other carriers on this corridor at present.
Instead, travelers flying between Morocco and Japan typically transit through other hubs (such as Middle Eastern or European airports) with airlines like Qatar Airways, Air France, Emirates, or LOT Polish Airlines offering one-stop services.
The additional frequency provides Moroccan travelers with greater flexibility for multi-destination itineraries, including Dubai stopovers.
“Westbound travellers departing from Tokyo Narita will benefit from an early-morning arrival in Dubai, enabling seamless onward connections to major destinations across Europe, Africa and South America, including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Brazil,” Emirates stated.
Emirates operates the new service using a retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER featuring upgraded interiors with modern color palettes and specially designed Ghaf Tree motifs across all cabins. The aircraft accommodates 260 Economy seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats in 1-2-1 configuration, and eight First Class Suites.
From May 1, Emirates will operate more than 22,500 weekly seats to Japan across 28 weekly flights serving three gateways. The airline will handle 1,240 tons of cargo weekly, providing capacity for businesses to transport products to key markets in the GCC, Europe, and Africa.
The enhanced service complements Emirates’ existing Japan operations, which began in 2002. The airline currently operates three daily flights to Tokyo Narita, Tokyo Haneda, and Osaka using Boeing 777s and A380s, all featuring Premium Economy products.
Emirates offers expanded domestic connectivity through partnerships with Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways, serving 36 destinations, including 26 domestic and 10 regional points. The added Narita frequency increases the number of available connections.
Tickets can be booked through the carrier’s website and mobile app, as well as via online and offline travel agents and the airline’s retail outlets.
