Dr Ahmed Fouad Hanno explained that the Ministry is proud to host delegations of theatre artists from Arab countries in Cairo, thanks to the support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, a major supporter of Arab culture in various aspects. He noted that theatre is a platform that extends between Cairo and Sharjah, a large platform that accommodates many works and reflects the aesthetics of the arts.
Momentum to the cultural and theatrical scene
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah24, Hanno noted that such festivals give great momentum and dynamism to the cultural and theatrical scene, adding that the most beautiful thing about theatre is putting all the cognitive, educational and civilisational momentum into a beautiful theatrical performance that the viewer receives, and expressing his wish for the continuation and increase of cultural cooperation between Cairo and Sharjah.
