Strong winds wreaked havoc all around the Tri-State area on Friday.
Several trees and power lines came down in several locations.
Trick-or-treaters dodged downed trees and cars slowed to avoid trees jutting into the road in Clinton Hill.
Crews cleared some of Clinton Avenue but parents were hoping for a less hazardous Halloween night.
“People are going to maybe get hurt or trip over tree branches,” one parent said.
Trees were still toppling over a day after the strong strom Thursday.
A tree and wires came down onto a vehicle in the Bronx on Friday demolishing a car.
It happened at Stadium and Watt avenues in the Country Club section.
Images show the large tree and branches practically swallowing the vehicle.
No injuries have been reported, but there is a localized outage.
One resident said they could not walk their dog in the park due to the downed tree.
After Thursday’s soaking rain and Friday’s wind, the Parks Department says it received more than 250 reports of fallen trees.
Inspectors will be surveying damage through the weekend.
