
Jury duty and all other court operations will be paused at downtown Los Angeles courthouses on Monday due to the Dodgers’ championship parade.
Operations at the following locations will halt on Monday for the parade, the Superior Court of California announced.
- Stanley Mosk Courthouse
- Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center
- Superior Court departments at the Spring Street Courthouse
- Archives and Records Center.
Dodger fans are expected to flock in droves to downtown Los Angeles as the team celebrates their World Series championship. The Boys in Blue beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 on Saturday in a winner-takes-all game, defending their championship title.
Regular court operations at the impacted locations will resume Tuesday, and all other LA County courthouses will run as usual on Monday.

Jurors who had a service date for Monday at the affected locations do not need to call on Sunday for reporting instructions, but must continue calling on Monday for Tuesday instructions. Anyone who is serving in a trial at the above-mentioned courthouses doesn’t need to report on Monday. Criminal grand jurors scheduled to appear at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center should instead go on Nov. 10.
Restraining order cases that were scheduled for Monday at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse have been transferred to Departments 68 and 69 at the Metropolitan Courthouse, which is located at 1945 S. Hill Street.
All court proceedings that were scheduled for Monday at the locations mentioned will be rescheduled. Individuals impacted by the pause will receive a notice from the court.
