Memphis Grizzlies wing Cedric Coward left the game Feb. 9 against the Golden State Warriors with 2.9 seconds left in the second quarter.
He is doubtful to return due to a knee injury.
Coward was jumping for a rebound when he came down and fell to the floor. He limped up the floor for the following Grizzlies possession, but he wasn’t moving well. He went to the locker room and did not start the second half at Moda Center.

Coward had two points, three rebounds and three assists before leaving the game.
Coward, acquired with the No. 11 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, has been one of the league’s top rookies. He’s averaging 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 47 appearances entering the game against Golden State.
