From the Traverser Mark 2 Armored Transport to the infamous “deadliest vehicle on the fairway,” the Turfpro PVT Royale golf cart, Battlefield 6 RedSec serves up plenty of ways to get around the map. But nothing comes close to the presence or impact of a tank. These armored beasts are built to dominate, sporting absurd amounts of firepower that make them devastating both up close and at range. The good news is that getting your hands on a shiny new tank in Battlefield 6 RedSec isn’t as difficult as it might seem if you know only where to look. Once you’ve got one, you’ll have an arsenal of firepower that can change the course of the match. So if you’re ready to roll out and unleash some glorious mayhem throughout the map, here’s how to get your very own tank in Battlefield 6 RedSec.
How To Get a Tank in Battlefield 6 RedSec?
Tanks are some of the most powerful vehicles in Battlefield 6 RedSec Battle Royale, capable of wiping out squads in seconds and even taking heavy damage. Each one seats four players (i.e. your entire squad) and comes fitted with deadly weaponry along with a sturdy armor that’s immune to most bullets and explosives; although, they are still vulnerable to air raids and artillery fire.
You can get a tank in Battlefield 6 RedSec by simply opening up one of the Vehicle Trailers dotted across the map. However, to unlock a Vehicle Trailer, you’ve to first obtain a Vehicle Keycard, which is the only way to unlock Vehicle Trailers in Battlefield 6 RedSec. You can get Vehicle Keycards by doing special missions that offer them as rewards, looting them from defeated enemies, or, at times, finding them inside loot chests placed across the map.
After you’ve acquired a Vehicle Keycard, open your map and look for a Vehicle Trailer (marked by an icon of a tank within a box). Then, simply head over there and insert your Vehicle Keycard into the reader to start unlocking the trailer. Just be ready for a bit of chaos since the trailer doors take a while to open, and a loud siren blares the entire time, practically announcing your location to everyone nearby. This makes it easy to be ambushed while waiting, so set up a perimeter or have teammates to cover you.
Moreover, there’s no way of knowing what vehicle is inside a Vehicle Trailer unless you open it. Tanks in Battlefield 6 RedSec are common rewards, but other vehicles can also pop up. If you’re lucky enough to find a tank, move quickly to claim it before someone else does.
