UK ParliamentConservative shadow minister Andrew Rosindell has defected to Reform UK.
Announcing his resignation from the Tories on Sunday, the MP for Romford said the Conservative Party was “irreparably bound to the mistakes of previous governments and unwilling to take meaningful accountability for the poor decisions made over so many issues”.
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage called him “a great patriot” who “will be a great addition to our team”.
Rosindell’s defection follows that of the former shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick, who joined Reform on Thursday.
