The time has finally come for Globetrotter! SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated international action adventure starring Mahesh Babu has been building buzz for months, and now, it seems the long wait might finally end.
The makers – and the stars themselves – have teased that something big is arriving tomorrow, possibly the first official look at the cast or even the film. But in true Rajamouli fashion, even this announcement came wrapped in humor, sarcasm, and a full-blown X banter between the director and his cast – Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Mahesh Babu teases SS Rajamouli, gets reply from Priyanka Chopra!
It all began when Mahesh Babu cheekily posted, “It’s November already @ssrajamouli 👀.” To this, Rajamouli replied in Telugu, “yess… ye cinemaalaki review iddaam anukuntunnaavu ee month?” (Yes… you’re expecting a review for this film this month?). Mahesh, continuing the banter, responded, “Your ‘forever in making’ Mahabharatha, Sir…😂😂 First things first, You promised us something in November. Please keep up your word.”
Rajamouli, known for his witty replies, added, “It has just started, Mahesh. We’ll slowly reveal one by one.” But Mahesh wasn’t done teasing—“How slow sir…? Shall we start in 2030? ”
As if that wasn’t enough to fuel excitement, Mahesh playfully tagged Priyanka Chopra, writing, “Fyi, our Desi girl has been posting every street of Hyderabad on her Insta stories since January @priyankachopra.”
Priyanka quickly jumped in, quoting his iconic Pokiri dialogue, “Helloooo!! hero!!! You want me to leak all the stories you share with me on set? Mind lo fix aithe blind ga esestha.. 👊🏻” (Once I decide, I’ll do it blindly!)
Rajamouli then mock-scolded the superstar, writing, “Why did you reveal PC @urstrulyMahesh … You ruined the surprise.” Mahesh replied innocently, “Surprise aaa?😳 You mean to say, @PrithviOfficial is also a surprise?”
Prithviraj Sukumaran then joined in on the fun, writing, “Sir @ssrajamouli, I’m running out of alibis for these Hyderabad ‘vacations.’ If I keep this up any longer, my family will start doubting me. 🙆🏻♂️”
At this point, Rajamouli threw up his hands—figuratively—tweeting, “@urstrulyMahesh … now you ruined everything.”
Mahesh finally called a truce, suggesting, “Let’s call it a truce. Put out something tomorrow, which everyone already knows. You can still call it a surprise.”
‘Villain’ Prithviraj’s look reveal FIRST?
After the to and fro, Rajamouli agreed, but with a twist—“Okay, deal. But penalty for excess sarcasm. 🤨 I’ve decided to delay the release of your first look.”
Prithviraj quipped, “I know sir! You love your villains the most!” To which Priyanka added the perfect finishing burn, “Hahaha. Better luck next time @urstrulyMahesh… Burnnnn!” Mahesh then dropped a banger to say, “It’s okay, @ssrajamouli always saves the best for last.”
The online exchange quickly went viral, with fans declaring it the most entertaining film announcement ever. Many believe that Rajamouli will unveil Globetrotter’s first official look tomorrow, possibly featuring Prithviraj as the villain.
As per media reports, the film is set for its first major reveal on November 16, 2025 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The official title and a special video glimpse will be unveiled. Making it even more special, OTT platform JioHotstar has reportedly partnered with the makers to livestream the event.
With this cast – Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran – under SS Rajamouli’s direction, Globetrotter already promises to be a cinematic event. Now, all eyes are on November 2 to see if the ‘ruined surprise’ will turn into the biggest reveal of the year.
