Katy Perry has confirmed her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the funniest way possible.
The Firework singer spotted a fan in the crowd at her Lifetimes Tour in Prague holding a sign, asking for her hand in marriage.
A video posted to TikTok showed the moment the 41-year-old replied on stage saying: “This guy is trying to get me to marry him and he has a ring in his hand.”
“No! I am dating someone else for crying out f—ing loud.”
It comes just days after the pair were spotted in public together for the first time at a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris last week.
The couple were celebrating the singer’s birthday, TMZ reported at the time.
In photos obtained by the publication and some others, the couple walked out of the venue smiling, hand-in-hand.

Perry’s announcement is the first confirmation we’ve gotten from her or Trudeau about the pair’s relationship status.
She has hinted at their relationship during other shows on tour.
While in London earlier this month, she made a quick remark hinting that she had found a new boo.
“London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school?”
“No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore,” she said, as per The Sun.
In her comment, she was referencing her previous marriages to her English ex-partners, comedian and actor Russell Brand and actor Orlando Bloom, whom she confirmed her split from on July 3, 2025.
The couple said they were dedicated to co-parenting their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.

Trudeau and Perry were first spotted at dinner together at the end of July, before they were caught kissing on a yacht in October.
Two days later, a fan got onstage in London and asked Perry to marry him, which is clearly a regular occurrence for the singer.
She laughed as she rejected the proposal, telling him, “I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago,” referring to the paparazzi photos of her and Trudeau.
