
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the registration process for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2025 will conclude tomorrow, Friday, October 24, 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the CSIR UGC NET December session can submit their applications online through the official portal at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

- Complete the registration using your credentials.
- Fill in the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee.

CSIR UGC NET December 2025: Application fee
Applicants are required to pay the application fee according to their category:
- General category candidates: ₹1,150
- General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: ₹600
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third Gender candidates: ₹300
The payment can be made using net banking, debit or credit cards, or UPI. Candidates who miss completing the fee payment before the registration deadline can still make the payment online until October 25, 2025, 11:50 PM.
CSIR UGC NET December 2025: Application correction window
For those who need to make corrections in their application, the NTA will keep the correction window open from October 27 to 29, 2025, up to 11:50 PM.The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination is scheduled for December 18, 2025, and will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will run in two shifts:
The test will be available in both Hindi and English, with candidates required to answer in the language selected during registration. In case of any discrepancy between the Hindi and English versions, the English version will be considered final.The NTA will release the examination city slips and admit cards closer to the exam date.
