LEBANON (WISH) — A new business providing health benefits is now open in Lebanon.
The Collective Wellness Lounge offers beauty and wellness services.
The goal is to help customers mind, body, and spirit.
Collective Wellness Lounge is open seven days a week by appointment only.
Missy Peterson is the Owner.
“It’s a collection of different modalities for wellness,” Peterson said. “It started as a head spa because I’m a stylist, cosmetologist, and trichologist, but it evolved from there to look at functional wellness.”
Peterson says her journey in haircare started with Malibu C.
“I’m the Global Educator for Malibu C,” Peterson said. “So that’s where my wellness journey began was with their awesome products.”
Peterson says most of the clients she saw for hair loss were having problems with their nutrition.
“We really take a deeper look at things,” Peterson said. “We look at the health of your scalp, which stems from the health of your gut.”
At the Collective Wellness Lounge, Missy works alongside her son Bryce who’s a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist.
“We talk about nutrition, your poster and just little things in life that make it more difficult,” Peterson said. “Bryce is a personal trainer and nutritionist, so here it’s not just about getting the head spa treatment done. Your hair health depends on what you do internally.”
Her new business offers an infrared sauna, hair and scalp consultations, head spa treatments, personal training and much more.
“We have a 3-D body scanner so Bryce is able to document everything,” Peterson said. “We also have an infrared salt sauna so I can do light therapy through there.”
