TIRANA, Feb 9 /ATA/ The 11th edition of ‘Plein Air’ is being held at the Shkodër Art Gallery, featuring over 50 works by landscape masters.
This edition presents the works of 15 painters: Agim Kadillari, Agron Polovina, Anastas Kostandini, Buron Kaceli, Kujtim Buza, Nikolin Ivanaj, Pashk Përvathi, Rikarda Nova, Sadik Kasa, Sefedin Stafa, Vangjo Vasili, Xheneta Kadillari, Zaim Elezi, Ikbale Kalaja, and Skënder Strica.
“The ‘Plein Air’ exhibition will stay on display at the Shkodër Art Gallery until February 20.
Unlike other exhibitions, ‘Plein Air’ features works painted entirely in natural settings, reflecting the artist’s direct and immersive interaction with the environment.
‘Plein Air Art Albania’ was established in June 2015 by a collective of landscape painters.
Within their practice, painting directly in nature assumes a central and enduring significance. The association’s primary objective is ‘to foster the values of Albanian figurative art, with particular focus on the nation’s scenic landscapes, and to advance the landscape genre to the highest standards of artistic excellence.
