S’exprimant lors des travaux de la quinzième session de la Commission mixte supérieure de coopération maroco-sénégalaise, tenue lundi matin à Rabat, Sonko a indiqué que la tenue de cette session sous la présidence des chefs de gouvernement des deux pays traduit une ferme volonté de relancer la coopération bilatérale, conformément aux hautes orientations des dirigeants des deux États, et de renforcer le caractère stratégique des relations maroco-sénégalaises.
Speaking during the fifteenth session of the Morocco–Senegal Joint High Commission for Cooperation, held Monday morning in Rabat, Sonko stated that convening this session under the leadership of both heads of government reflects a strong determination to reinvigorate bilateral cooperation, in line with the high-level directives of the two countries’ leaders, and to strengthen the strategic nature of Morocco–Senegal relations.

Sur le plan économique, Sonko a estimé que la coopération commerciale connaît une dynamique positive, tout en appelant à des efforts supplémentaires afin de parvenir à davantage d’équilibre et d’équité dans les échanges bilatéraux. Il a souligné que le traitement de certaines déséquilibres observés demeure nécessaire pour garantir la durabilité et la qualité du partenariat économique à moyen et long terme.
