Award-winning comedian, presenter and author Tom Allen is adding another string to his bow. It’s been confirmed that he will be joining the cast of Titanique the Musical in London for a limited six-week period.
Tom will be playing the role of Ruth from March 6 to April 12, 2026, excluding March 24, April 3-5. Speaking about his new venture, Tom said: “I saw this show when it first opened, and I loved it so much I had to see it again almost immediately. The laughs and camp spoofing are addictive and exactly what the world needs right now. I am beyond honoured to be joining this extremely talented cast and can’t wait to come aboard for my lifeboat drill!… Wait, they do have enough lifeboats, right?”
Thanks to his signature acerbic wit and riotous storytelling, Tom has cemented himself as a household name with TV credits including Cooking With The Stars, Bake Off: An Extra Slice, and The Apprentice: You’re Fired. He’s also the author of two critically acclaimed memoirs No Shame and Too Much, with his first fiction book, Common Decency, due for release in May 2026.
Titanique recently celebrated its one year anniversary in the West End. The current cast includes Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Luke Bayer as Jack, Rose Galbraith as Rose, Richard Carson as Cal, Ryan Carter as the Iceberg, Charlotte Wakefield as Molly Brown, Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber/Luigi, and Carl Mullaney as Ruth (who will be returning on April 14).
They are joined by Corrine Priest, Madison Swan and Damien Winchester as the on-stage background vocalists, and Freddie King, Caitlin Tipping and David Ouch as the off-stage understudies.
The parody musical is an Olivier-Award winning, global sensation, which has garnered rave reviews following sold-out productions in London’s West End, Off-Broadway, and in nine cities worldwide. Titanique is a kooky-crazy production which hilarious reimagines the story of Titanic through the eyes (and music) of icon Céline Dion. The show follows Céline as she tells the audience what “really happened” on the ship, whilst singing some of her best known hits including ‘My Heart Will Go On’, ‘I’m Alive’, and ‘Taking Chances’.
A newly announced Broadway production of the show opens for a 16-week run at St. James Theatre on March 26. The cast will include co-creators Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli as Céline Dion and Jack Dawson respectively, The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons as Ruth, Deborah Cox as Molly Brown, and Frankie Grande as Victor Garber/Luigi.
