- Ripple Treasury, Powered by GTreasury, aims to eliminate bottlenecks in CFO and treasury operations through a unified architecture tailored for both traditional and digital assets.
GTreasury announced the launch of the Ripple Treasury on Tuesday. The platform offers a purpose-built solution for Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), treasurers, and accounting teams to track and control their traditional and digital treasury operations within a unified architecture.
Key Features of Ripple Treasury, Powered by GTreasury
“Ripple Treasury, Powered by GTreasury” aims to address the challenges financial leaders and managers typically face in corporate treasury operations. These include idle working capital, settlement delays and uncertainty, cross-border pre-funding issues, FX spreads and hidden costs, and fragmented systems.
Ripple Treasury fuses GTreasury’s 40 years of enterprise treasury experience and Ripple’s blockchain solutions. It also features regulatory-compliant and institutional-grade systems. Additionally, the platform aligns with CFO requirements while navigating the diverse legal frameworks of specific jurisdictions.
Generally, Ripple Treasury unlocks API integrations for digital asset platforms, treating them as “digital banks” in the same way GTreasury treats traditional banks. This results in 24/7 liquidity optimization and automated reconciliation.
Meanwhile, Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoins mitigate FX risks and volatility through their near-real-time transfers. It cuts transaction times from 3-5 business days to 3-5 seconds.
What’s more, Ripple Treasury bypasses overseas pre-funding requirements, preventing trapped working capital. Then, the platform provides real-time tracking for transparency and confirmation.
Overall, it’s about removing friction, optimizing cash movements and workflows, and enabling quick, precise decision-making for treasury managers with real-time inputs and outputs through an immutable audit trail.
A True Rail Agnostic Architecture
The platform, powered by Ripple and GTreasury, does not impose lock-in terms on customers. In a true “rail-agnostic” fashion, it allows companies to use their proprietary treasury systems. Ripple Treasury simply provides a way to optimize their treasury connectivity, workflows, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Moreover, clients are free to integrate or scale their infrastructures depending on their goals. Meanwhile, the solution does not restrict users to a single network because Ripple Treasury’s open architecture allows them to tap into other settlement systems, such as SWIFT or ACH.
Ripple’s Acquisition of GTreasury
The latest milestone of Ripple and GTreasury comes just a few months after the former acquired the latter for $1 billion in October 2025. The event marked Ripple’s second-largest buyout next to the $1.2 billion it paid for the Hidden Road (now called Ripple Prime) acquisition in November last year.
