Nairobi, Kenya: As you pass through the streets of Nairobi, especially the Central Business District (CBD), you may notice a number of electric vehicles roaming around. Most of them are Chinese-manufactured, or there may be an association of Chinese parts manufacturers and local manufacturers.
Most EVs you won’t miss to see include King Long buses, BasiGo, BYD Electric Cars, Dongfeng just a few among unmentioned others. Toyota too hasn’t been left out in selling their electric cars in the Kenyan market, as there are a number of those cars not frequently seen but roaming around.
