It was a fantastic performance. His positional play was top drawer and that is not always the case. He played some very clever shots to keep breaks going.
He had it all his own way but all the top players are great bullies and can play to that standard when the other guy is not performing.
You have to feel for Xiao Guodong, It was a day to forget. There was nothing he could do about that. It happens sometimes where you can’t do anything correctly, it doesn’t make you a bad player, it just happens.
