“Adolescence” star Erin Doherty took home her first Golden Globe on Sunday night, winning the trophy for female actor in a supporting role on television with a salty acceptance speech including an f-bomb and an s-bomb — at least one of which CBS censors appeared to miss.
“I made a promise to my mom I wouldn’t swear, but what the fuck? Holy shit! Sorry mom,” she said, while being heavily bleeped by CBS. Doherty then dedicated her win to therapists, given her role on “Adolescence.”
“I didn’t want to assume but i feel like we all know therapists,” she said.
