ELKINS PARK, Pa. (WPVI) — Police in Cheltenham Township are investigating a stabbing that left a man hospitalized.
It happened just after 8 a.m. Sunday in the area of Old York Road and Breyer Drive in Elkins Park.
According to police, they responded to the area following reports of a stabbing that had occurred on a SEPTA bus.
Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a stab wound to the head.
He was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive.
Two suspects had fled from the bus prior to police arrival, but were apprehended following a foot pursuit in the area of Meetinghouse Road and Township Line Road.
The incident remains under investigation.
