The second T20I between Sri Lanka and Pakistan has been delayed due to rain in Dambulla. Pakistan are leading the series, following their six-wicket win in the series opener. The two teams are currently engaged in a three-match T20I series, an important assignment ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
Pakistan are without Babar Azam, who is playing for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. Shaheen Shah Afridi was also competing in the BBL before sustaining a knee injury, which ended his campaign. The Men in Green welcomed all-rounder Shadab Khan, who returned to the side after an extended period. He underwent surgery but showed his class in the first contest.
Shadab was named the Player of the Match for his all-round contribution. On the other hand, Sri Lanka will be searching for answers after a clueless performance by their batting unit.
