Over 130 diplomatic missions attended the Annual Deanery Assembly of Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to the State of Kuwait on Tuesday, highlighting cooperation, dialogue, and cultural exchange while celebrating the Diplomatic Corps’ 2025 achievements.
The event was held under the patronage of the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, H.E. Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait.

The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Zaid, Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, alongside heads of more than 130 diplomatic missions in Kuwait.
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Zubaydullo extended his best wishes to the diplomatic community for continued success and achievements in 2026. He highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation, coordination, and constructive engagement between diplomatic missions and the host country.

Ambassador Zubaydullo also reviewed the activities of the Deanery throughout 2025, noting its active engagement with diplomatic missions, as well as international and regional organizations accredited to Kuwait.
He underscored the Deanery’s collaboration with government and public institutions, and its participation in major international commemorations, humanitarian initiatives, and various events that foster unity, solidarity, and a strong collective presence of the diplomatic community.

The Assembly provided a platform to enhance dialogue, promote mutual understanding, and strengthen friendly relations, cooperation, and cultural exchange among diplomatic missions. A formal banquet was held in honor of the participants.
On the sidelines of the event, members of the Deanery posed for commemorative photographs by regional groups, while ambassadors appointed during 2025 gathered for a separate group photo. Appreciation gifts were presented to active members of the Diplomatic Corps in recognition of their valuable contributions.

H.E. Abdulmohsen Al-Zaid, the Guest of Honor, was also presented with a commemorative gift in gratitude for his support and collaboration with the Diplomatic Corps.
The Assembly concluded with the conveyance of best wishes for continued success, meaningful achievements, and further strengthened cooperation in the service of peace, dialogue, and mutual understanding in the year ahead.
